The Evangelical (Protestant) Church in Dierdorf
This photo page is credited to Rege Zagrocki, a
decendant of Johan Immet Berger & Johan Herbert Berger 1735-1815

The present Dierdorf
Evangelical/Protestant church was built in 1903/04 out of stone from the
Dierdorf fortress demolished in 1902. The old church, St. Jakobus, was
erected in 1200. |

| Although its appearance blends with the church,
the bell tower is an older construction. It contains three bells: the
Prayer Bell (1463), the Reconciliation Bell (1894), and the Awakening Bell
(1960). |
